TextingStory is now available in the Microsoft Store!
This guide shows you how to add a full-screen video insert into your TextingStory. This feature allows you to break away from the chat conversation to show a video, perfect for displaying character reactions or providing additional context to your narrative. You will need a video file saved on your device.
In the story editor, tap the Add button, which looks like a grid with a plus sign, located at the bottom left of the screen.

From the 'Add' menu that opens, tap Video insert.

Choose the video you wish to add from your device's media library.

The video will be processed and placed into your chat timeline as a thumbnail.

To see a full-screen preview of your video within the editor, tap the play icon on the thumbnail.

In the editor, your video appears as a rectangular thumbnail within the chat feed. This is only a placeholder for editing. When you export your story, the video will play full-screen, temporarily pausing the chat conversation.
Inserting a video between messages allows you to add dynamic, full-screen video content to your story. This feature enhances storytelling by providing cinematic breaks from the text conversation, making it ideal for showing events, character reactions, or other visual context that messages alone cannot convey.
