How to Record and Send an Audio Message
This guide shows you how to record and send an audio message within a conversation in TextingStory. This feature allows you to add voice content to your stories for more dynamic and engaging dialogue. You will need to be inside an active chat conversation to begin.
- In the chat window, locate the + button next to the message input field, and tap it.
- Select Audio message from the menu that appears.
- It will start recording right away. Speak clearly into your device's microphone while recording.
- Tap the Stop button (square icon) when you are finished recording.
- A preview of the recorded audio, including a playback control and the duration, will appear.
- Tap the Send button (up arrow icon) to send the audio message to the chat.
- To cancel the recording instead of sending, tap the X button on the left of the audio preview bar.
Tips
If you decide to change your mind while recording, tapping the X button next to the audio preview will dismiss the recording without sending it.
You can change the writing side for an audio message just like you can for text messages by tapping the Change writing side option in the additional menu.
