Set the video export aspect ratio
When exporting your TextingStory as a video, you can control the shape or aspect ratio of the final output. You access these settings by navigating to the Video tab.
Video Format Settings
Once you are in the Video tab, look for the Video format section, which contains the Aspect ratio options. Selecting the correct aspect ratio ensures your exported video displays correctly on various platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, or standard YouTube viewing.
- Square: Exports the video in a 1:1 aspect ratio, common for older social media posts.
- Vertical: Exports the video in a portrait (9:16) aspect ratio, ideal for mobile-first platforms.
- Vertical with keyboard: Exports the video in a portrait (9:16) aspect ratio, but leaves space at the bottom for the keyboard animation.
