How to Change Message Tone with AI Style Filters
You can easily modify the tone or style of any message you are writing in your chat using our AI Style Filters feature. This allows you to quickly rephrase text in various tones, such as professional, chill, or robot.
- Navigate to the chat conversation where you want to edit a message.
- Tap and hold on the message you wish to modify to bring up the Message actions menu.
- In the Message actions menu, select the Style filters icon (the icon with the sparkles/stars).
- The Style filters panel will open, displaying the current text of the selected message at the top.
- Browse the available style options (like Dad, Chill, Professional, 18th century, etc.) presented as icons.
- Tap the desired style filter icon (e.g., 18th century).
- The application will generate the rewritten message text preview. You can tap on other style filters to see different results.
- Once satisfied with the result, tap the OK button to apply the style to the message in the chat.
- If you decide not to apply any style, tap the Cancel button or the X icon to close the filter menu.
Tips
You can also use the Edit message option in the Message actions menu to manually change the text before applying a style filter.
